Winter Hikes & Snowshoeing
Winter hikes – an elixir of joy for the whole family
Hike through the magnificent winter countryside, hear the crunch of snow beneath your feet, and enjoy the view of the imposing white giants surrounding you - the Wilder Kaiser and Zahmer Kaiser. Winter hikes are an elixir of joy and balance: families are able to stop along the way, build a snowman, and later perhaps even conjure up a snow angel or two together. The region surrounding Lake Walchsee, with around 80 kilometers of beautifully maintained and clearly marked winter hiking paths, invites you to enjoy a relaxing stroll as a family.
Organized winter walks and night hikes are also offered in Walchsee and Kössen. With the Kaiserwinkl Card, our guests are welcome to participate at no cost. Just make sure you have appropriate winter clothing and some sturdy shoes.
Snowshoe hikes away from the winter hiking paths
If you would like to explore away from the winter paths, we suggest setting out on a snowshoe hike. Discover and experience the winter landscapes of the Tyrolean mountains, collecting unforgettable impressions away from the more-traveled winter paths. Here, you can truly feel the winter magic and pure nature of Walchsee. We recommend guided snowshoeing expeditions with experienced, expert hiking guides. Atmospheric Hikes by Torchlight
Once a week, Ferienclub Bellevue offers torchlight hikes with a truly unique atmosphere. Of course, for guests of the Bellevue participation is free of charge. We are happy to accept your reservations at the reception desk.
