Adventure & Outdoors
Active Holidays
Aside from the "classic" sports, such as hiking, golf and mountain biking, a summer in Kaiserwinkl also offers many other sporting possibilities and unique experiences for the whole family. How about rafting or canyoning, an outing on a horse-drawn carriage, or perhaps even taking to the air during a tandem paragliding flight ...?
The high-ropes course in Kössen consists of a series of practice obstacles strung by steel cables as much as 10 meters above the ground. Climbers are equipped with a helmet, safety harness and safety lines. The absolute highlight of this high-ropes course is the so-called Flying Fox (ca. 100 meters-long zipline) as well as the roughly 100 m long Nepal Bridge back across the river, around 20 meters above ground.

Kaiserwinkl Climbing Arena
Walchsee Climbing Club founded KLETTERARENA KAISERWINKL ON THE OTTERNALM/WALCHSEE back in 2011. A climbing arena that offers three different fixed-cable rock climbs. The three routes are between 70 and 300 meters in length and difficulty-rated B+, D and D/E. The climbs (which, incidentally, must be climbed start to finish, no "emergency exits" along the way!) are secured by means of permanent steel cables as well as two suspension bridges. From one cable bridge over a canyon, climbers have an unobstructed view of the high moors known as the "Schwemm".

Amusement Park & Alpine Slide
The apt motto of the Zahmer Kaiser amusement park is "Adventure, Fun and Games". Visitors are left to their own devices, able to make their way on foot or with the Zahmer Kaiser lift up to the amusement park itself (a part of Walchsee known as Durchholzen – just 2.5 km from Holiday Club BELLEVUE****). Awaiting you there is the Skydive, the Luna Loop and the Nautic Jet. An adventure playground, fantastic swings and incredible rides across the water – in other words, unforgettable fun for the whole family. And of course, you can also park your car right next to the amusement park if needed.
In and around Walchsee, you have an enormous selection of opportunities for recreational adventures. Whether rafting, canyoning, kayaking, (tandem) paragliding or hang-gliding, you can look forward to pure adventure. And if you want to take your adventure to an even higher level: How about reserving a balloon ride amid the imposing Kaisergebirge mountains of Tyrol.
